Our national monuments need your help.
In April, President Trump signed an executive order instructing U.S. Department of Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke to review 27 national monuments. The order put popular national monuments that protect treasured landscapes and boost local economies at an unprecedented risk of being drastically shrunk or eliminated entirely.
As part of the review, the Interior Department sought public comments on the future of our national monuments. One million Westerners responded with ninety-eight support for national monuments.
The message from the West is clear: Respect our our national monuments...all of them.
